The brief
NPilates is a studio in Černošice offering one-to-one and group sessions, both on reformers and on the mat.
Customers really want to know three things: when the classes are, what they cost and whether the instructors are any good. The site has to answer all three and then offer a booking straight away.
The solution
The schedule, the price list and the class overview each have their own menu item and their own page. Booking goes through the system the studio already uses, so no slot ever exists in two places.
The instructors have their own page with their certifications, and there’s a gallery of the studio, because with pilates people also want to know what equipment they’ll be working on. The blog answers the questions that keep coming up.
The look
The opening photo is a studio shot: a woman in black against a grey backdrop, with no props to distract. The rest of the site stays in muted greys and beiges, and the only strong colour is a dark brown on buttons and headings. The effect is as calm as a pilates class itself.
Buttons and photos have rounded corners, in keeping with the soft movement the studio talks about. Alongside that, the site shows real photos of the room, with its reformers and arched mirrors. So people from around Černošice know exactly where they’re going before they ever walk in.
The details
The Book a class button sits right under the studio name, for people who have already made up their minds. Everyone else carries on to the studio section, finds out that the room is in the grounds of the tennis club in Mokropsy, and from there a button takes them straight to the instructors.
The Why NPilates section explains which machines the classes use and who teaches them, which is what a beginner wonders about before a first session. The class overview then sets out both one-to-one and group sessions, on the reformer and on the mat.
