The brief

Lužec Areál is an industrial and logistics park in a former sugar factory in Lužec nad Vltavou, thirty kilometres from Prague on the road to Dresden. It lets halls, warehouses, outdoor space, containers, offices and flats, and also offers fulfilment and the services of its own construction division.

Anyone looking for a site like this is mainly asking two things: is what they need free right now, and how quickly can they move in. Everything else, from the history of the sugar factory to the solar panels, comes after that.

The solution

Two buttons wait just below the opening screen: check current availability and book a viewing. A single row then shows the figures a tenant wants first: the size of the site, the covered halls, the outdoor space and the distance from Prague and Mělník.

The offer is split by what people are after. Halls, outdoor space, containers and housing each get their own card and their own part of the site. Fulfilment, the construction division and the energy setup are described separately, so they don’t get in the way of someone who only wants to rent a hall. The enquiry form is in the menu on every page.

The look

The site relies mainly on drone photography, because the park’s strongest argument is its size and that’s best seen from above. The homepage opens with a video flying over the halls of the former sugar factory, and further down aerial shots alternate with close-ups of the buildings.

The colours are workmanlike: dark backgrounds, light grey panels and a strong orange reserved for buttons. Headlines are set in a dense grotesque, body text in the highly legible Inter. Light and dark sections alternate steadily, giving the long homepage a clear rhythm that’s easy to scan.

The details

Each type of space has a short description and a link to its own page, so a tenant reaches the right offer without wandering around. The menu lists the park, spaces, housing, services and energy, with the orange enquiry button always to their right.

Phone numbers and email addresses on the contact page are links, so a viewing can be arranged from a phone with a single call or email. A map of the site sits beneath them. Smaller services such as winter boat storage or charging for electric lorries only get short tags: people know they exist without having to read about them.
